The oldest bar in the state of Indiana sits on South Meridian Street in Indianapolis. Open since 1850, The Slippery Noodle has undergone many name changes over the years and has witnessed much history. At various times it has served as part of the Underground Railroad, been a bootlegging speakeasy with infamous gangster customers and later served as a brothel (until murder brough that to an end).

Today the establishment is a world-reknowned blues bar with celebrity acts and customers. It has also been the scene of apparent paranormal activity, with haunting activity focused in the basement and on the second floor where prostitutes worked in miserable little rooms above the bar.
